Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses effective and clinically proven techniques to bring you back to a calm frame of mind, enabling you to feel more in control. It helps eliminate unwanted habits and thought processes and enables simple changes in a relatively short amount of time. Many clients come to hypnotherapy after finding other therapies have not been successful for them.
We start by understanding how the mind works, how it responds to stress and what we can do to manage this, focusing on the specific changes you want to make. I use a solution focused approach, in combination with gentle hypnosis, also known as trance, for long lasting results.
Trance is very normal and is simply focused attention, a bit like daydreaming. It is a way to access to the subconscious mind, creating openness to helpful suggestions. You are fully aware and in control throughout the session.
